Fresh & fruity, we’re sure this will become your favourite way of enjoying Plantasia Organic Black Tea with Forest Fruits.  We prefer to make it with loose leaf tea but you could use the teabags.  If using loose tea you will need a tea ball, tea strainer or similar or you could make it in a cafetiere.

Makes 4 glasses.

Plantasia Organic Black Tea with Forest Fruits – 1 tablespoon Loose Leaf or 4 Teabags

1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Ice Cubes

Fresh Mint

Fresh Fruit

Pour about 1 litre of freshly boiled water over your tea and allow to steep for around 3-5 minutes depending on personal taste, don’t leave too long or your tea will become bitter.  Now is the time to add your honey (if using), if you prefer it a little sweeter just add a bit more but remember that once your tea is cold it will be more difficult to get the honey to mix in.  Once you have strained your tea, allow to cool completely (best left overnight) before popping in the fridge.

When your tea is ice cold you can prepare your fruits.  We used peeled & diced apple and grapes but experiment, let your imagination run wild!

Fill your glasses two thirds full of ice, add your fruit and a sprig of fresh mint then pour over your tea.  Pop in a straw then enjoy!  If you find your brew a little strong, why not try adding a splash of sparkling water or lemonade?
